YouTube Mobile New Layout

YouTube has rolled out a new experimental layout for its mobile users which is now available to view as manual opt-in. Once enabled, the new YouTube layout design provides a darker colour palette that show video against dark backgrounds together with white navigation icons on a dark background.

The YouTube Mobile experimental layout also brings with it updated buttons and a new toolbar to toggle high quality on videos, thumbs up/down, and share them.

Some of the new navigation icons include a fading animation and the video thumbnail has now been equipped with a new user interface controls for loading and playing. If you want to opt in and try out the new design, just jump over to YouTube in your browser to enable it!
