Seedstuff.ca Review

Hey fellow internet users, Today i’m going to give my honest review of Seedstuff.ca

Seedstuff.ca have some pretty good prices, but since they are a new company and not many users are aware of them many users are afraid of signing up and spending hard earned cash on a new(ish) company. Well FEAR NO MORE! I took the plunge and got myself a seedstuff seedbox, The seedbox speeds were amazing. But soon enough I knew that the cheap seedbox wasnt enough for me, I wanted more access, so I got myself the K2G dedicated server. I was blown out of the water with this little dedi, the speeds were amazing, speed test confirmed 85mbps up and 89mbps down on 1st run, few hours later I did a rerun and got slightly faster results, needless to say I was impressed.

In total I’ve had the server for 4 months, and in total the server has been offline for 0 minutes (okay okay I manually restarted it twice while installing some programs, but 0 minutes of unplanned downtime). Per month I do about 3.5 TB data transfer, and I’ve been taking it easy, i’m sure you can push that amount up way high if you really try.

So really, go ahead and try one of their servers/seedboxes, you wont be disappointed.

Well you know, I’ve heard some good things about you, and you obviously trust seedstuff so I’m signing up.

I was wondering about remote server management with seedstuff.ca My brother and I are looking at getting a K16G dedi. We were going with the unmanaged plan with ubuntu server 12.04 LTS as our distro. The initial setup allows for remote ssh root shell access right? I was thinking about using VNC and setting up some vms. Any advice?

@SpazMagi: Hey sorry i only saw your comment now, i get too much damn spam from spambots. Yes the unmanaged option gives you a clean install with only ssh access, all the rest you need to install yourself like FTP, rutorrent etc etc. Advice? well just go for it, the nice thing is that if you break anything you can still ask them to format and do a OS re-install even though its unmanaged.
