Russians to Upgrade AK-47 (whaaat)
Plans were announced for an update of the AK-47, the most recognizable gun to date. The new model the AK-12 will be designed in such a way that it can be used with one hand(dual wield AK’s OMG) and a safety switch on both sides (who needs a safety on an AK). The change is part of a plan to spend $7 trillion overhauling Russian armed forces between now and 2020.
